Clearance issues?
I was thinkin about Skunk 2 stage 2 cams for my B16A
It is a stock engine right now, but I want to run a fully built ls vtec later
But my question is should I bother getting the cams right now, or will the power increase not be worth it in a stock B16A? Or am I gonna have to worry about the chance of having clearance issues?
Some people say that it being fully streetable might be a prob too. Is that just due to poor tuning? Cuz this is a daily driver
Thanks, search didn't remedy me

spend your money first on getting the LS/Vtec built. Then worry about cams later. Just my opinion, but you'll like the torque increase with a 1.8L block.

You will see good HP gains with the skunk 2 cams in your b16.
Build up the head now so when you are getting parts for your LS/VTEC the head is done.
I am doing the same thing with my b16, the head is being built so I can have fun with the car now and in a year or so I can build a bullet proof bottom end.

Re: Clearance issues? (hybrid honda)
How about the stage 2s? I heard they might not be comfterblly streeted, or might have a bad idle
So what is all needed for the skunk 2 stage 2s? The cams, springs, retainers, and is that it?
I want to p&p later, but it might be after the ls vtec

I currently am building this setup for the street, later on when i get enough money i'll build up the bottom end. It is a b16a2, with pretty much every bolt on, my head is getting p&p as we speak, flat .5over nitride coated valves on intake, stock size exhasut valves, ported manifold/bored and tapered throttle body, rocket motorsports valve springs and retainers, and crane cams stage 3 cams, and spoon head gasket. It's gonna suck for now due to only having about a 10.7-11-1 cr.
