ok im ready to buy cams for my f20b (same as h22 )
ive narrowed it down to rockets m24 or the crower stage 3 .
heres the setup thats happenign this yea
11:1 (for now up to 12:1 for next year)
RMF header (alla 2point6 version)
50 or 52mm twm tuned on crome
stock ports (slightly better then h22 ports, but will be done next year )
2.5 mandrel exaust
440cc injectors .
looking at the specs its hard to compare as there seems to be a few ways to measure the duration .
the f20b feels much liek a 2.0 liter B motor . its not liek the h22 in the sence it loves to rev een in stock form .
most cam dynos ive seen from f20b's make peak at or above 8500.
midrange is important as well as improving the high end .
heres the listed spec or both
crower 3
adv dur IN 316
dur @ .050 263
gross lift w/1.55 (dont know what that means )
IN 468
EX 468
m24
dur IN 298
EX 305
lift IN 12.7
EX12.1
im leanign towards the m24 mainly since the great reputaion of rocket.
but just want to make sure im making a good choice
jun's are what i want but there out of the price range
thanks for any help guys

Crower3's.....Yummy! Nothing like a shitty Cam to break in your head and cause major damage. Oh Yah! Theyre fixed now! Sure I believe that!
Look into the Rockets or Skunk2's, unless you can dig up some JUNs. It seems like the Rocket Cams and ALL new stuff for H22's is aimed at Drag racing.

yea the breakage thing is on my mind but what can you do , i think there is alot of variables to what happenes with them .
juns are unfortunitly out of the budget .
id liek to get more info on the rockets ,a price for the cams alone (have to do things in steps so springs will be next buy )

I would in no way run the M24's with stock valvetrain.
I might be biased, but with what I've seen of Rocket and Crower on H22's, I'd go with the M24's.
They are a hotter version of the M22X so they'll make power sooner but still have the top end. Midrange + top end in a F20B = the win.
