Calling ALL vtec specialists!! JDM H23A H2B!
******* issues..lol..
B16 Cable tranny with electronic VSS JDM H23A (motor came with a vtec head from the factory)
VTEC solenoid with out pressure switch.
P28 chipped on crome
was throwing a code, but no CEL for the pressure..but for whatever reason no longer am
thing ive done and tried, but still no luck..
-virgin P28
-different chip
-continuity between vtec pin on ecu and solenoid
-solenoid working (tested by battery) made clicking
-jumped a wire from a4 to d6 to disable the pressure (tricks the ecu)
- disabled vtec speed on crome
- Oil check/ filled even more
- Grounds..added
Im pretty sure theres more but, as of right now thats all i got

If you hot wire the selonoid while driving the car does VTEC work? Check the oil pressure from the head, bolt approx. 10oclock from #4 exhaust. Needs to be 60 PSI while reving the engine and VTEC engaged, around 20 PSI with vtec off. PM me.

Hey DONF could it be speed sensor issue as well. I had one not working and my Vtec wouldnt work eaither computer issue I think I changed it and Vtec worked fine from there.

well my VSS is working according to my m.p.h and im not throwing any codes for it..but do you think i should still try a different one?

yes, i did the helms tests..thats why i have came upw.no electrical issues.
i'm off work tomorrow so im gonna try it.
i bumped it to see if anyone had any other responses before i test on this **** all day..and most likely will end up w. no answers again, k thanks

hardwired the solenoid and vtec does work...whats next guys!? need to get this car running right!

Try a diff solenoid?? Stupid but it worked for me once,when all else failed...

do you have vtec pressure switch?... if you dont it will never ever activate unless u disable it on crome and then ground it...

no pressure switch.. jdm selonoid.
