Icon2 B20 vtec help questions

I. Have a B20B that I got from HMO about a year ago I got the golden eagle B20 Vtec kit and about to put a B16 head with ITR camshaft on

What I have
B16a2 head with a port and polish simler to a Itr head nunthing more and Itr camshaft skunk 2 springs and titanium retainers stock valve

Golden Eagle B20 V complete kit

100% stock OBD-2. 98-99 B20b motor

complete Type R intake manifold

Type R header and stainless steel 2.5 inch exhaust

Gsr tranny
chipped p28 ECU

my question

1. Is there any PTV clearance issues with the golden eagle head gasket and ITR camshaft. Or can I just put it on and go get it tuned

2 Is 8200 rev limit to high for the 100% stock B20b rods or shold it be more like 7800

3 can this set up make as much or more HP then a stock B18c type r motor with a p73 ecu, the reason I ask is because i like the power output of a Type R motor and don't want to make any less power really

My 1st B20v set up

There shouldn't be any PTV issues with stock setups.

Set your rev limit where it stops making power if you don't care about blowing it. Or be safe and cut it off around 7500-7800rpm.

This setup should net you more torque but who knows. It's a frankenstein motor so it's best to get it tuned properly and see what kind of power it puts out.

Runnin an ITR ecu is not ideal in this situation.

The B20z has a higher stock rev then the B20b right or the rods r diff or something I dont know im asking

Thanks and I will alway use oem honda oil filter and I will use brad penn oil.

I used brad penn performance oil with high levels of zinc and ph. In my gsr with stock rods with arp bolts 82mm CTR piston 0.035 head gasket and completely ported polished GSR head and complete valve train skunk 2 tuner 2 cams rev to 9800.

I liked the brad penn oil because it didnt scatter at hight rpm like other oils

the rods are the same. that good to hear about the oem filter and brad penn. i stress all the time about using the right oil and keeping clean oil in your motor.

Yeah I use brad penn 10w-30 and s2000 oem filter on my b20v. When i change my oil its almost like new oil, but I change it anyways. Oil change is a lot cheaper than a rebuild.
