no, it wasn't just for the headstuds, it was for the headstuds and ls/vtec kit. and the kits cost about 250. so 360 is fine.

Yup, theres a plus mark between them but I guess it's hard to see so it was the headstuds golden eagle ls/vtec kit and 2nd day air shipping

what head gasket did you get from that GE lsv kit? From bambam's thread, he says to use a LS headgasket so it won't leak any oil. I didn't read his thread and already bought my kit. Haven't tried it out yet though.

Here's a link... https://honda-tech.com/zero...ge=18

Hmm, I've never heard of that happening. Golden Eagle uses an oem p30(b16) head gasket with two holes resized to fit the dowel pins.

yeah, but bambam and some other guys on that link/thread are saying the head gasket needs to match the block...not the vtec head. When I read that part...I read all pages and IM him just to make sure. One guy stated that the holes the dowels went thru on the ls hg had to be enlarged.

Well I'll try the GE headgasket and see if that works and if not I'll let you guys know and replace it with an LS headgasket.

I got the bottom end assembled today, everything checked out good and was within spec. I might throw the head on tonight when I get home from work.

Well... It's a longblock now, I'd have to admit I didn't think I'd see this day couple times, neither did alot of people. Anyway it's not done till it's in the car and driving. It could blow up when I go to turn it on.

Alot of OEM hottness

This is how the beast sleeps tonight

I would I have finished pulling the motor tonight but the mosquitoes were ******* crazy. Everything is disconnected and the motor is hanging by the hoist just the mounts got caught in the engine bay, I got another 15-20 minutes and that motor should be out.

Got some more work done today

This little bastard was the only problem of the day, apparently you can't use a rear tranny bracket from an EK with b-series swap. So hopefully someone will have an integra one in stock tomorrow

is that a rear tranny or the rear t bracket?

you need the rear t bracket from an si, the integra one wont work either

It's the rear T bracket. I'm pretty sure an integra one will fit, I belive this was from an SI but I'm not 100% sure.

im 99% positive that the integra mount doesnt work either it will be just as short, and you need the si bracket.
