After tuning another car that same day we did find that the dyno was reading extremely high. I guess it was something with the weather station??? Either way this car is very nice and make pretty good power for what it is.

Congrats

193 from a gsr with cat, small exhaust, barely bigger than "R" cams and a tiny header? i bet a bolt on K20 makes 270 on it.

to the OP, nice numbers seems correct to me cuz you did some internal work. take it to the track, its gonna be alot of fun.

That's been a long-understood rule of thumb to find estimated HP.

ETs can be improved with practice & better traction. The trap speed tells you where the limits of the car are.

I think you'd benefit greatly from a better intake, header, and exhaust. Those whale penises don't do anyone any favors in performance. Not to mention, that header/exhaust combo is definitely undersized.

I agree...that car is really nice. SSBP GSRs are Beautiful, Rare cars. Looks like YOU, SIR, got a GEM. That engine bay is SPARKLING. It's truly a VERY nice car....wow.

Strap her up again and see what she pulls out of the dyno. I highly doubt it's going to be that high, again....but it may be higher than you expect. I had a friend that had a BONE-*** STOCK 1996 GSR that used to walk away from my 1999 GSR with i/h/e. Factory freak cars are a reality!

VERY NICE FOR A FELLOW SSBP GSR OWNER! THOSE NUMBERS SEEM A LITTLE HIGH... BUT DIFFERENT DYNOS READ DIFFERENT NUMBERS!

Yep

In a 2700lbs integra built b20vtec full interior on street tires trapping 110mph what you think it makes power wise.. .

MPH tells power

Yep. Seen one of those too. It was October 2000, a 98 GSR a friend's dad bought him after graduating high school. Went to the track, 14.8 @ 96mph.

I couldn't believe it, it wasn't even dropped. Talk about bone stock. I still remember driving it, felt like any other car. Heck it actually felt slower because it was so darn quiet. 2.2 60 fts over and over.

dynos lie, trap speeds don't. I dynoed my car a couple weeks ago and it showed it making 190whp. I trap 86 in the 1/8th and 99 in the 1k ft, so i know the dyno i was on is reading at least 20whp off... Oh and my car weighs 2420 with me in it.

damn very impressive numbers for a gsr with bolt ons

you would have hit 200 if you would have taken off that carbon intake and put on a 3 inch intake

i dyno tuned 3 different cars each one came in with a intake like yours and i replaced them with a 3 inch single bend and between all 3 cars all gained between 5-8hp
