Default 220 WHP set up, what cams/header

i got a LS block right now with ITR pistons/rods. GSR girdle.

im getting a b16a head. ordering my rocket valve train package sometime this week. and taking it to the machine shop.

my question is what would be a good set of cams for the motor. i dont want anything to crazy, this will be a street driven car/daily driver.

also looking for a header. ive read the SRZ header test thread. im really digging the RMF.

also do yall think my setup would even be 220ish WHP worthy?

also the car will be tuned VIA uberdata/chrome

Probably not, but good luck though
Skunk Pro1's or Toda C2's would be my cam choices.

Beau look at my motor to se what it takes to make 230whp in GA.

that setup might make 200whp-205whp with a ported head. without ported head, look towards 190-195whp.

Skunk2 Pro1s or Skunk2 Pro2s or M22xx are the ONLY cams i would be looking at to buy for an NA car.
On a 1.8l, the RMF hands down. have not hasd anyone beat one yet

it will be pretty hard to reach that goal without some pretty big cams and a free flowing head.

for a header get the RMF for sure and just look around and some dynos of cams and just see what suits your needs and power goals. bc4 pro2 m22's etc. are all good cams that will make the power as long as the rest of the motor is up to the task. you live pretty close to the guy that can answer all your questions ie VtecKidd

maybe 220 was a little steep of a goal. the head will be ported and polished, as well as the usual valves, springs, retainers, and such.

ive been reading on the m22's and i might go with them, since ill be using rocket valve train anyway.

ill be running a JDM DC 1 piece header, until this summer/spring.

im moving my goal to 190 WHP all motor. still got alot of little things to get, convert fully to OBD1, chipped ecu, conversion harness blah blah blah

thanks for the opinions.

The M22's have an insane top-end pull, I can vouch for those bad boys

Toda has revamped the Toda A's and Toda C's; the A's now have spec B VTEC lobes and the C's now have 5 degrees more duration intake and exhaust. Hence the new designations Toda A2 and Toda C2.
