Default 2" collector on my DC 4-1...

I ended up with 2" collector. I'm currently building my B18B...404's, pr3 pistons...around 11.5:1 compression, PnP head. etc....I was wondering how much the 2" collector was going to hurt me, compared to a 2.5", thanks.

probably quite a bit. buy some 2.5" piping, cut your old collector pipe off, reweld, add o2 bung and flange, viola.

would I cut the collector right at the welds, behind the o2 whatever, or should I cut up into the where the 4 pipes are still coming together, to ensure a 2.5" outlet. If I cut the collector pipe off right behind the bung, I think it'll just be like putting a 2.5" collector pipe over the 4 that come together...and they come together at 2", so I guess I should cut back into them some, then weld the 2.5" on?

cut it where the four pipes merge. run a 2.5 all the way back.

2.0 will hurt you greatly once you get into major modding, i say just throw out the dc, and get a smsp or hytech header
