All OEM HIDs are 4100 - 4300k

They gotta be not bad, the best really is 4100k. But you probably wouldn't see much difference between the two.

yeah all hids on any car are between 4100-4500. the purpleish, bluish and white colors come about from the housing

This is completely untrue.
The color comes from the bulb itself. Diffrent countries like diffrent hues. I once had this become an issue on a TL that had body work done on the left front. The HID on the left was yellowish/white, right was blue/white. As per Honda North America "a bad lot of HID bulbs has been shipped to dealers nationwide, check both bulb lot #s to get the same color. We have diffrent hues for diffrent needs."
