. This system has no diagnostic code flashing capabilities; when there is a fault, all of the SRS system circuits have to be tested to determine the fault. Once the fault is repaired, the light will go out.

Okay, so I just bought this car and have gotten a bunch of things fixed. I know that it was never in an accident and the airbags were not deployed. Another thing that I just noticed is that the horn doesn'twork either. Could these be connected somehow?

You'd at the very least need a service manual and GOOD multimeter for checking the clock spring.(it sits under the driver side airbag)

The cable reel or clock spring was the culprit. Got one from the pick a part for $25. When removing my steering wheel the original came shooting out like a slinky when I pulled the steering wheel. Installed the new one and the SRS went away and the horn works.
I have an ABS light that comes on about 5 minutes after startup regardless if its being driven or if its just sitting at idle. I cleaned the sensors but no change. Do I test the sensors for voltage or resistance to see if they are bad?
The only other issue with this car is that it has a pretty loud valve ticking sound at first startup but goes away after it warms up. Is this normal or is there something I can do?
