Warranty Questions
I'm getting a 2k2 RSX..and its still got the warranty for awhile...i'm just wondering how much modification acura will allow before it will void the warranty...
for starters, and until i get money, i'm just gonna do I/E, and then worry about other stuff...but will Acura void my warranty if i put an aftermarket exhaust on? cause that'd blow
thanks

They can't void your warranty unless that mod caused your car to be messed up. So lets say you got hondata and you bent your valve springs from over revving it wouldn't be covered under warranty, but if you got hondata and your cd player wasnt working they would have to cover it.

Re: Warranty Questions (96integra)
i worked at a dealership for while. because a lot of ppl are doin mods to these kind of cars and taking them off b4 returning the car to get fixed so it looks like its hondas fault. the dealers are gettin really strick wit what cars they are repairing covered 100% under warranty. even wit my ford truck i used to have they gave me **** for it cause i had subs hooked up to it and they were tryin to blame it on the instalation of it. so i guess just b careful. and make sure if sumthin does go wrong u put all the stock **** back on it

Example, if you get coilovers, the suspension is voided. If you blow your motor they can't deny you a new engine because you modded the suspension. Some dealers are cool, some aren't. If it isn't that long of a wait, I say just leave it stock and save up your money.
