Default RSX vs EK

Hello, all right now i'm 18 and I drive a 1996 Honda Civic Si "EX", I have 0 modifications because first of all, I usually drive 60km everyday, and on weekends 200 km so in total that is 500km a week, I go to school which is half an hour away, then work, which I do deliveries, on weekends I go visit my girlfriend which is 1h and a bit away. This is alot of km's on an engine so I decieded I'm not going to "modify" my car engine swap and such, till I'm done school and my girlfriend is planning to come down here also, so I will be driving alot alot less.

I will be done college when I'm 20, that's when I plan to start modifing my EK, but for some reason I don't really feel like working on a 12 year old car, and rebuilding it from scratch. I don't like the new si's so that's out of the question so I'm left with RSX, which I love the look off, I just don't know enough about them.. HOw good they handle compared to the EK's etc.. etc.. I know they are more luxrious, and start off with a better motor.

I just need more convicing, to get an RSX, preferably Type-S.. what do you guys conisder the pro's and con's of this car, be as honest as you can. Also, i Know they are not making them after this year, so I would be purchasing most likley an 06, this is for right now, possibly the TSX Coupe could change my mind completely if it has AWD, and looks sexy like the RSX, but for what is out there now RSX looks the best, and is a very nice preformer

So please, I'm asking for the Pro's and Con's be as honest as possible

Cliffs: Can't decided to modify ek or buy an rsx.... lazy people lol

drive your car until you graduate. Pick up a used rsx for cheap then and mod it.

LOL, that's what I plan on doing, but why get an rsx. What's great about them compared to a civic, yes they look nicer, and it would be newer but what else?

Dude listen, If you want a fast *** car then drop a k20 into your car. If you want a new nice looking good performer than ya i recomend the Type S its an amazing machine all round. I can tell you my car has AEM cold air, a few internals and dropped on Eibach streetline's and I am raping GTI VR6's and 1.8 T's all the time lol
u want A/C?

What are you talking about?

I have a/c right now... with a k20 swap it's not possible to retain the a/c...

no shiet sherlock, but i'm just saying that performance wise and the amount of money you'll save with swapping than buying a new car is gonna be a couple grand or your civic would be faster with a k20 swap....but if you love the rsx's then go ahead and just buy one when your done with school....just giving ya some advice like you asked....

I think before anything, I'm gonna... test drive an rsx... if I don't like it or it isn't worth the $$, all just continue with my orginally planned b18c1
