CFRP stands for CARBON FIBER RE PRODUCTION meaning a carbon fiber copy. Meaning it is a carbon fiber hood. And though the price of Mugen Items can be considered rediculous at best thier items are track bred at Hondas own racecourse.
Also the hood is designed with cooling and cool air intake in mind not apperance as much.
You mean to tell me you run a shop and don't know what "CFRP" stands for???
It means Carbon Fiber Reinforced polymer.
"CARBON FIBER RE PRODUCTION" LOL..... Not very good advertising if you ask me.

um, not to be a dick or anything, but take another look at that spoiler and then go read up on your thermo studies...that wing wont be doing much of anything unless those damn little winglets turn out to be solid rocket boosters -- wing

THANKS!!! The Mustang is being worked on (engine-wise) and the Benz is what I'm driving around. Eventually, I'd like to get a faster one. Mine's stock right now, but hopefully soon I can either upgrade it or trade it in for a faster one...

if i remember correctly that is not a track car, that is just just a TypeR after a mugen treatment. you buy the car directly from mugen and it looks just like that (depending on what mod package you buy). this is much like what saleen does to mustangs.

... i like the look.

Saleen works a little different..... You buy a GT or a Cobra from the car dealer and you ship the car off to Saleen and then pick what packages you want; body kit, engine, wing, etc.... As far as I know, you can't buy a car directly from Saleen (Except the S7), you have to ship your Mustang off....

I usually don't like to bash on wings, but I don't like this one... don't like the kit either. C-west, Air Force One, or the OEM kits look better IMO.

If any of you think that type of look is rice, then you wouldn't like Japan very much, because most people around here balance their mods between look (big rims/tires, kit) and motor. That first Integra has the ***** to sport that type of style, so I'd say nice.

Unless that thing has an added 40-50 hp to the wheels to back up those "fast" looks, then it is definately rice. Just like everything else thats all show - no go.

Mugen. Rice. = are not to be used in the same sentence.

I wish I could agree with that, but there is a dude with a 88 or so accord where I live whose only "mod." is a huge mugen sticker on the windsheild.
I've got one better! I once saw a Mercury minivan; dents, rust, and all, with a huge Mugen sticker on the windshield. Only in Bridgeport CT Don't you love good taste?

I'm all for the wing. I have the Mugen wing for the G3 Integra and it does help. Although I think the new Mugen wing looks like ***...they should have just kept the same one and stuck it on the G4 Integra.

Heh, people say thats rice, then dont come to Japan, its all rice then.
I came back to japan 2 days ago, and the first thing i say was a Syl80 "riced up" in terms of you guyz. well... i guess it depends on what you guyz mean by rice. cause for me, it seems that rice is used when the parts are for looks. but ofcourse if the mod is functional, i dont htink its rice.

oh and... CFRP, isnt it Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic? i saw someone type polymer.... oh well... i guess im wrong...

A plastic is a polymer, becasue it's produced by cross chain polymerization. Though not all polymer's are plastics, for instance Nylon-66 is a polymer but not considered a plastic.

Cheers

I honestly wouldn't drive it. Whether its rice or not is open to interpretation, but either way it just looks silly to me. Performance non-withstandings
