Only the JDM model had the British flag on it (it's not called a Union Jack unless it's on a ship). UK models have always had Type-R logos on the seats and never had a British flag on the hatch, I should know since I live in the UK.

Re: New Honda Civic Type-R (99SilverVTi)
A few UK cars have the flag on the car - we had some which we sent to people in exchange for donations to the Macmillan Cancer Relief charity. Also does the Anniversary edition not have them??? Not sure on that - it got the Recaro seats rather than the 'Sport' seats.

Re: New Honda Civic Type-R (English Rose)
Honda doesn't put the flag on as standard though, they're all aftermarket item's. The anniversary version didn't have the flag, it did have the Recaro seat and the JDM style red interior and A/C as standard but no flag on the hatch. Interstingly, it was cheaper to buy the anniversary edition and get A/C as standard that to buy a normal type-R and take the A/C as an option.

I for one actually like the styling of the CTR, although the tail lights are a love/hate relationship. Id definitely drive one here if it were offered (although id choose the DC5-R if it were offered as well).

It took a while to find a pic but I knew I was right, here you go You can see the Union Jack right beside "CIVIC".

Re: New Honda Civic Type-R (Trey)
I like the UK EP3R very nice. Wish we got the EP3R here in Aus. I wonder how it will do against our Aussie DC5R....
Sucks how it doesn't come with an LSD....

and they have never offered the UK EP3R in white either. They won't even do it as a special request (I tried).
