K20A3 Head/Valvetrain Incident
A friend of mine who owns a 2003 EP3 with a stock engine over-revved it while down shifting, and the head suffered from a couple of broken parts. We're 100% sure that a rocker arm (...do "rocker arm" and "rocker assembly" refer to the same part?...) needs to be replaced, some other head internals might need replacements but it's been hard for us to identify the name of the exact parts (We live in the Dominican Republic, so even though I speak and write English, it's hard for me to know how a part is actually called against how we or local mechanics call it in Spanish). We're trying to use the diagrams to identify them.
EP3's are very rare here. You could maybe count 10 in the hole country but on another hand, CRV's and Accords are very common. Would a CRV or Accord head bolt right on to a K20A3? If not, would at least valvetrain parts fit?
I'll try to take pictures of the broken parts, maybe another route would be to try to find them online, order them and repair his current head.
Thanks in advance.

Re: K20A3 Head/Valvetrain Incident (jimmypol)
If you dont have kpro the crv nor accord head will work I believe. Only a K20a3 head from the ep3 or rsx will work. Post up pics so we can tell you what you need. Was there any valve to piston contact?
