Wrong.

It's a pain in the ***.

I'd just boost the complete a3. a2 vtec is pretty much too loud to use on public roads with intake/exhaust. Around here at least.

It's loud. I rarely use vtec on public roads (maybe an on ramp... maybe).

The entire a2 swap is worth it. The head isn't IMO.

Do you mean not worth it in the sense that it's more work or that the power gains aren't worth the effort? I don't mean to play devil's advocate, I'm just curious.

the a2 is superior to the a3. two rocker vtec is no comparison to the a2's 3 rocker vtec. the a2 is a engine built for performance in the high range from honda and has way higher performance characteristics of the a3. id go for an entire a2 swap then boost

nah. the k24 accord and crv heads probably bolt on because its the same vtec design and ****, but those engines are as useless as a b18a1 lol

well u dont really want to do jus a head swap, its hard its almost as hard as a motor swap u have to pull everything off jus like doin the motor and ur not gonna get ur money worth outta that lil power u gonna make with jus head swap im not sure how much different the bottom end is on a3 compared to the a2 but ur not gonna make the same power u would if u would have done a motor swap imo its best to jus boost or swap the motor

i have an a3 turbo sooo from expierence let me say

a2 head, forget it. if you wanted an a2 swap for an a2- you have to do rockers and everything. its not worth it.
i went with a crv head. bought it for 150 total with everything and it breathes much better. corsportusa.com has an ep3 with this head on it and stock internals pushing close to 400hp dependably.
my a3 with greddy kit is pushing 320 and never had any issues
