Default Intake tests from Import Tuner for RSX-S

Does anyone still have that issue? I lost mine. Which SRI and CAI provided the most HP gains? My friend is gonna get a 04 RSX-S and is starting to buy parts for it now. If anyone can help, that would be great. Thanks.

Do not use dyno results to influence what intake you buy.

Your car is not moving on a dyno so airflow is not taken into account.

Also do not beleive manufacturer claims.

Search this and other forums about REAL WORLD experience w/ the products and make your decision from there.

Or just buy what your budget allows, and what you like, because there's not really a significant difference in performance output between intakes.

well thmost gains for short ram was

the injen intake with 9.2 HP more
the dc sports shortram had the same hp gain but less torque

the best CAi was the AEM with 20.1 HP more

Man don't all of you know by now that the injen CAI yeilds best HP #'s from any intake on the market for base rsx, type s and si.

I have a Injen cai and i love it, i also know a few members of this board and ephatch who sold their aem for injen.

Thanks everyone. Now we are debating whether we want the Injen short ram or cold air. We got to take in mind that we live in chicago and the winter is harsh and the rain yields some level of water.
