Default I have a question

If I put a TYPE S head on a base model RSX will I get 200 HP??

same stroke same bore?

What the hell is the difference anyways motor wise between the 2 other than 160-200 hp rating

Why would you want to do that in the first place? Just by an S. Not sure what the detailed difference of the motors are .. but from the specs there is a bit more between the motor then just the head.

Bore & stroke are the same at 3.38 in. x 3.38 in. The base has a 9.8:1 compression ratio, 6800 RPM redline, and the 2-rocker VTEC system only on the intake cam. The Type-S is 11.0:1 CR, 7900 RPM redline, and a 3-rocker VTEC system on both cams. Both motors make use of the new VTC. The base uses a dual stage variable length intake manifold while the Type-S has a tuned single stage shorter runner intake. I am sure the ECU program is a bit different between the 2 motors as well.
