it's a muuuuchhhh better car overal than the current si. I would expect to see perhaps another minor bump in the rs-x's power level perhaps to 220 the following year

Actually there's a video on VTEC.NET, interview with J. Mendel (senior executive of Honda).
The reporter mentions RSX being terminated from the lineup and Mendel did not say RSX will stay.

I think I will hold onto my GTI for another year or so. I was going to trade it for a Scion TC, but the New Si is tempting. Think Ill hold onto it for another couple months and see what happens
