The closest you will get is the 05 RSX-S. It is rumored the 06 RSX will have 215hp and LSD, so that will be the closest. The Civic SI is coming out with 200hp and LSD in 06 as well, so thats as close as you will get to that.

Why would they make costly changes in '05 for only one year of production

we'll know in a few months (prob august) when they should go on sale
btw, i'd like to add that all these talks of the rsx ending are ALL SPECULATION. i have yet to see cold hard facts from honda/acura that state the rsx's tenure has come to an end. until then, i think it's safe to assume the car will continued to be produced.

The theory would have been the same one used in the revitalisation of the DC2 in 1998. In the case of the DC2, the revitalisation worked wonderfully and the DC2 continued through the 2001 model year.
I am not sure that the revitalisation effort for the DC5 had the same effect.
Did it?

Rsx's are selling for and under invoice. Judging by Honda past history, I doubt their going to add anything for the 06. I believe the 06 is going to be the last batch of Rsx's.
