EG6AAARRR!!!

well i guess i spoke too soon. The damn car is still acting up. I did a compression test and it was 215 across the board, changed spark plugs, changed coil packs, made a new tranny ground, checked all fuses, everything seems to be fine, i just dont get it.

well at least you know you're doing good internally. Man.. dunno what it could be unless was there testing the car.

a few updates

I found out that my tranny ground was ripped out of the chasis somehow. I figured that was causing all my problems. So I make a new tranny ground. Still having the same problems. Then I figured maybe the coils were bad. I changed the coil packs last night. Everything seemed to be all back to normal. Today I go to drive it and it starts acting up again. I did a compression test and it was 215 across the board.

This is what I have done so far:
Changed spark plugs
Made a new engine ground
Compression test (215 across the board)
Checked all fuses and other grounds
Changed coil packs

any suggestions?

if i'm gettin compression, and i should be gettins proper spark since ive replaced everything, it seems like a fuel issue. I put in a new fuel pump and filter when i get my car running back in january. Its an earls inline filter and a walboro 255 fuel pump. Any chance this fuel filter would get clogged this soon? I have only pumped 93 octane since ive had the car, but I guess it could have happened.

well the problem appeared to be gone, but today i went to drive my car and then damn thing didnt want to run at all, I would give it gas and it would just kill. The problem comes and it goes. I need to play around tomorrow.

its not really worse. Its really weird, because it seems to drive fine at night, and has only screwed up during the day. I guess a street tune is due.

**** i need a full street tune or get my happy *** on a dyno and tune da biotch. I currenty have a modded k map. Tuned the way i wanted. Eventually when i find money to get to a dyno i'll tune it then but for now i need to find a street that no cop goes to, to tune it. But for now i need to wait till my car is fixed.. got into an accident.. wasn't happy.
