You should start by taking out that vtec controller. They can actually make you slower if you're not running a highly tuned motor. Engaging high lift cam profiles too soon can rob you of low end grunt.

No use for a VTEC controller on a K20A3, the engine doesn't have a classic VTEC mechanism, so you won't be able to tune with the engagement. Sell it and keep the money for actual useful parts. There's write ups about NA EP3s making 175-185whp, but you gotta spend them dollars. Stage 1 cams, K-Pro, full exhaust systems from Racing Header to Cat Back and some other parts will help you get there.
Most people will tell you to swap the engine out, if you get to save the money, it's the best thing to do, if not, the A3 has potential, you could slowly build it up to a little beast. There's just not too many folks giving it a chance.

Take the controller out as soon as possible. This motor is damn near always in Vtec so take it out. I tried to control fuel with it and with the I-vtec all your doing by using a controller is stopping the motor from thinking!

I've got a k24a2 from a wrecked 04 TSX... This is how the car should have come from the factory IMO. The torque is so much fun!
As for the rest of the comments... the VTEC controller will do more harm than good on the stock engine. You can adjust whatever you like, but the engine is continuously adjusting the intake cam timing. So no matter what you do, you'll just hurt your engine unless you're tuning with Hondata's KPro.

Also forgot to explain why not to do that ^^^ In case you didn't know...
The k20a3 and the k20a2 (RSX Type-S) or the k24a2 (TSX) motors have different heads and thus different internals. Cams for the a3 head aren't interchangable with the a2 head.
