Re: Best exhaust for RsX (rufus917)
well I've heard this new company SEAR has a great exhaust line called the CH. It has 2.5" mandrel bent titanium piping and a high flow resonator and 4" outlet

You do know that you will need the DC5R upper 4-2 section or an aftermarket 4-2 to use this exhaust, correct?
So in that regard, it is probably not the best for the normal person. The other thing, there is no way in hell that anybody could drive with this on the street. Well they could, but I am sure that they would be ticketed for noise pollution. My Amuse is already a really loud exhaust, because of no resonator and coupled with the Toda mani. I think it maybe a tad quieter than the 70RR. It really isn't street legal and is sold as a circuit piece, just as the 70RR is. The street version, if you could call it that is the 60RS.

I don't know from experience (with a DC5) but i have an RS*R exmag on my integra right now, and i love it. Great look, well engineered, and very quiet. All the things i love. And i checked with RS*R, the exmag for the DC5 is a straight through design. The 60mm piping is a little bit of a bummer, but they say it's appropriate for the RSX. I would have prefered 65mm.

It's not all that bad, the mark-up price because of shipping I guess is what drives it crazy in the States. Mine was $1200, the resonated one goes for $1400 and a new exhaust I am looking at with 70mm Ti piping sells for about $1350.
High pricing is part of the game when you start playing with quality pieces. Amuse has been doing Ti exhausts since the late 80s and use more Ti in the alloy mix compared to alot of companies that are coming out with Ti exhausts, hence why the pricing is also higher.

damn.. you're lucky i guess being in japan. i saw the amuse R1 being sold somewhere for around $2200, which IMO is WAY too much to pay for an exhaust, but that's just me. if i had the money, i would undoubtebly get it, but alas, i don't so i wont.
