Why is the new NSX in GT4?

Don't mess your pants fellas.
There will be plenty of concept cars in GT4, it doesn't guarantee production.
I can't wait for GT4 though.

I thought honda made it clear that the NSX would be reproduced for sure a couple of year from now. Its supposed to be a hybrid. Not for economy, but for the great amounts of torque that electric motors produce. The new Acura SUV based on the CRV has an electric motor sandwiched between the engine and the tranny.

gt3 is by far the best video game i've ever played, I bought playstation because of it and its my only game. I reserved gt4 like 6 months, I'm taking a day off of work to play it. Note: I never play video games. I played the demo version of it at a game store, I got to drive one of the concept cars where each wheel is driven by an electic motor. The game is like identicle in physics from gt3 (good thing), from what I saw, didnt seem much different at all, just different cars and different tracks. But I never saw the menu's and how you can alter the cars.

I read an article about GT4. The tracks are exact replicas down to the millimeter. The developers all rode along with professionals in each production car that was put into the game, and well as drove them themselves. They also compared the Pro's track times on the game vs actually on the track and they were within 2 seconds of eachother. It sounds like they're really putting a lot of effort into making this a good simulator.

I sure hope so. When the GT series debuted they were the most realistic thing on the market but they have been eclipsed by a few games with even better driving dynamics. Now all GT means to me is an arcadey racing game with a bunch of different car models that aren't much different than each other to appease the masses. Its a formula that is very successful but it just isn't very fulfilling for the hardcore lunatic fringe. I have a ton more fun playing Ferrari Challenge which has only one car but is a much more engaging, difficult, and realistic driving experience (except when you collide with other cars...).
As for the NSX being a hybrid Fukui himself said that it will not be. Too much weight penalty, not enough performance gain. Unless Honda makes a breakthrough in IMA we won't see it in the next NSX.

355 Challenge for the dreamcast rocked me crazy. Had a hard time going from kmph to mph for the arcade though.
I've been playing a lot of Project Gotham 2 lately on the Xbox. It's pretty dang good, but no steering wheel support.

"Mortal Kombat on Sega Genesis is the best video game ever. "
"I disagree, it’s a very good game, but Donkey Kong is the best game ever."
"Donkey Kong sucks."
"You know what, you suck."

Apparently, they also recorded exhaust notes from the actual cars. This looks to be an amazing game!

gran turismo always puts in concept cars,
whether they make it to production or not.
and they have had concept cars that DONT make it to production, so this doesnt really mean anything.
honestly i'd rather see the nsx lay dormant for a while than come out with the hsc as its new iteration

I have played GT4: Prolouge and GT4 will be VERY cool and VERY real. Graphics are A++ but they did real good with the physics on this one as well as car and course selection! You can play this game on a regular US PS2 with NO modship, you need a Gameshark. Here is what you do:
1. Make sure your PS2 is in good cond.
2. Buy JAP version of GT4: Prolouge PAL WILL NOT WORK!!!!! When you get it burn the game to a DVD-R NOT a DVD+R, or buy a DVD-R from someone else, you have to have the origional for legal reasons.
3. Buy Gameshark I use a V2 and I think that is the best one to use.
4. Take case off PS2 will void warranty!
5. Take case off CD drive.
6. Insert Gameshark disc.
7. After GS starts insert an origional DVD game! Must be larger then the burnt GT4 game. Wait for it to start, wait about 15 seconds.
8. Go to code list and select a random code on or off.
9. Click START.
10. Click start game without codes.
11. Get ready! When you click X a sign will come up saying updating code list, this is when you open the CD top, swap the DVD origional for the burnt GT4, you have about 5 seconds, top MUST be back on, tap the front of the disc tray with your hand to be sure it connects back (I do it just to be sure)
12. Game will start
This takes practice, it has worked for me on EVERY DVD-R game I have tried. If anyone needs help IM me.
