Default Super GT: NSX 2.0

The NSX 2.0 didn't fare too well in 2014 Super GT series. Looks like it's about a half second off the pace…which is still considerable.

I'm sure as the season goes on the NSX's will find proper form. Do you know of any sites where I can watch a replay or live feed of the SuperGT races?

I don't know why I don't watch more of these races, I enjoy them a lot, but damn the new nsx's are fugly!

Yeah, I don't think they look so hot in race trim. I'm not sure the JGTC NSXs had that initial reaction either.

Need to be wider and more angry looking.

Next race this weekend at Fuji. Will be really interesting to see how the teams respond with tuning and upgrades.

Was there a modification to the rules or do you simply mean re-calibrating the cars in preparation?

Teams are allowed to make upgrades to their cars w/i the allowable limits (those set by SGT and DTM), no?

In other news: the NSX couldn't do any worse in Fuji. Quali'd at the bottom of the barrel - the last 5 spots out of 15. Mother Honda can't be happy.

Good news: the NSX 2.0 broke into the top 10 (out of a field of 15) when the Weider Modulo NSX Concept GT outlasted the rest of the broken down NSXs. With a best time 2.3+ seconds slower than and 15 laps behind the race winner, Weider NSX driver Naoki Yamamoto commented, "I can't friggin' wait for the weight penalty so we can get competitive. Of course, the season isn't that that long."
