Please USE OEM GLASS- HONDA GLASS- Nothing else!
also to be safe order new side modlings (with new clips) along with a new top molding.
Trust me I know.
If you value your car one bit you will do as I say.

I was wondering why you would go with Honda glass over any other glass? Just curious?

I think you need a better reason than that, as the glass must meet DOT standards for safety.
I've always used aftermarket when i need a replacement. A new windshield is $500, whereas the replacements are half or so. My insurance would cover the difference, but claims count against you when they figure premiums.

Re: windshield replacement (Volcom)
I work with auto glass everyday and I can plainly see the difference in oem and after-market glass, the fit (size, bend, clarity, distortion, weight, frit, lamination, mirror mounts) are way way better then any after-market glass you can buy.
Now glass thats made by PPG, LOF, and the other big names are made very well in fact some like PPG, make glass for manufactures but the glass that has the Honda name or any other manufactures name will have passes that Co's testes.
As for safety, yes they all meet the "DOT" requirements but then for the price difference maybe 50% more for oem is that worth your life or life of another?
Like I said before if you care about your car, get the oem specific glass for your car.

Road hazard claims do not count against your premiums. At least not the first few.

Re: (.RJ)
I went through a whole thing with the windshield on my R. Use OEM glass. The glass the bodyshop used didn't fit right, but even worse, it wasn't optically correct. You could see a slight ripple when you looked through the class and moved your head up and down. It was quite annoying, almost to the point of giving me a headache looking through it.
If you really want it to look perfect, buy the trim pieces as well, including the screw covers for the cowl. They get all buggered up when you try to remove them. All these pieces add up, but if you go through your insurance all you pay is your deductable.

Re: (Floyd)
I had mine replaced a few weeks ago - granted it was on my Saturn but still. I assume they used cheap glass because i said i was paying out of pocket (cant screw the insurance company for $1700). It didnt fit right (and i found out the next day it leaked) and the guy who installed it said "well there's nothing i can do about it" and so i called the office and 2 days later they were back out there putting in a piece of dealer glass in. It fits perfect now.
