will mugen exhuast be good ?
i've haerd someone told me mugen exhuast is not to run with camshaft dropped it. he told me it will be a bit not smooth at high rpm. is that true. he told me i should go with skunk2 exhuast.....
here is the setup i'll be puting in later on.
JDM mugen header 4-2-1 or 4-1
carsound 2.5 cat
AEM CAI
VAFC
Skunk2 st1 cam with camgear
SKunk2 ecu
and now will mugen exhuast be good, what's the JDM exhuast diameter.
or should i go for something else ? if so suggest me some nice quiet exhuast

It depends how much power you really want in your car. The mugen is a great exhaust but compared to straight through systems like the skunk2 and others, it simply does not have enough for the top end.
I would recommend it if you are still looking to stay quiet and relatively unoticed from everyone.
Having something like the skunk2 will kill your ears. Definately not quiet.
Mugen is probably your best bet with quiet and powerfull. Other alternatives include custom exhausts.

I don't get it. All this about not enough money for a turbo, now you are talking about other mods.
BTW - all the information you are asking about has already been covered often.

hehe turbo with tune and all extra cost me too much and i actually dont like the way how it feels when turbo kicks in during cornering... so
feel bad for my car...
i went from mugen header with AEM and sold them for turbo and now everything back to stock ..

i'm runing mugen exhuast still even i want power, but for the quality and the sound , mugen is the best for me. The cheaper way for u to go if u just want power, get the turbo muffler and custom piping, that's the best way if u want power.

btw, it seems by your H/C/E choices your going for a powerband in the high rpm's.
If this is so you don't exactly want a CAI. A short ram is better suited for high RPM power setups. CAI's are great for mid range power increases, but will not flow as well as a short ram in the upper RPM's. Just something to think about.
