I rub the tops of my wheel wells coming into my driveway. Not stock, but tires are a little too big too.

YMMV, or I guess not.

EDIT: Didn't click the pic to see what was really rubbing...

You need a spacer. Sucks, but yeah those are too tall. My 225/50 R15 Kumhos (way back in the day, and stock suspension) rubbed at full lock on stock wheels too. +5 mm should take care of it.

I'm sure he meant 205/50/15 if he's talking about the Azenis. I've rubbed on that same spot, but raised the car up about half an inch and had no trouble. Not sure about what's causing it on stock ride height however.

iggy, kinda off topic, but you should consider removing your heat shields up front for better brake cooling.

strange that you're rubbing though.

Actually they are 50. I just checked.

I have no clue why this is. It kinda discourages me to get 225/40/16 on my MF10's.

if it rubs on the side, take a hammer and smack it in a bit, also take your fenderwells off, mines only rub on a full turn and it hardly does

you should see my spot, mines used rubbed so much at that hump that it turned it into metal lol

This is very strange. I (and many others) have zero rubbing with the 205/50/15 Azenis on lowered cars. What are your alignment settings?

I'm assuming you're running azenis on stock wheels?

You have too much bodyroll and too soft of springs + too much positive offset on wheels.....

Get stiffer suspension and 15x8 +27 te37's to fix this.....

It looks like you have a camber kit??? Also, if the wheels are not stock offset that could be your problem.

The problem is that it's one of those fake black Type Rs....kidding.

I ran the same tires on my old ITR with stock supension and wheels and no problems.

No one has asked if you are still running stock wheels and or offset....that could affect it.

my 205/50/15 azenis rubs at the same spot on the left side tho (right side is ok, just little bit rub)
but my car was lowered, no wheel gap at the front with 15x6.5 +42 rims

with 1/8 inch higher, there is almost no rubbuing unless i do full lock left u-turn

I don't know exactly what my alignment settings are. I'm assuming everything is to stock specs. There is the same rub on the right side too.

Everything is stock; suspention, camber, alignment, wheels, everything.
