Re: Who shifts heel/toe with stock pedals ? (reefer_bob)
I have troubles. I'm 6'0", but I wear a size 13 shoe. It makes things very difficult to bend my leg around. I usually end up braking with the ball of my foot, and then use the right side (pinky toe side) to blip the throttle... It works, but I'm not very good at it....

5'10 with size 10 feets
No problems at all, just use broken in shoes.
Craig - Who just bought new skate shoes, but is having problems heel toeing with them

Thanks. Shows me I`m not a dumbass... I have exactly the same trouble. And I am 6,3" tall....
Edit - Grammar/typos/spelling all in 3 sentance fragments... wow...

and THAT means in my eyes. you only reached throttle by heel if the brake pedal is pressed down deep enough, right ?

Re: Who shifts heel/toe with stock pedals ? (George Knighton)
I'm short.. and i can't do it.
With the seat moved back i can barely reach the pedals.
With the seat moved FORWARD my knee keeps banging on the bottom part of the steering wheel/dash connection part...i keep kneeing the keys dangling out as i dance on the pedals.
I'm hoping that when i decide to install my momo pedals that all this problem will go away

I need to relocate the wheel or sumpthin. I have to do it side to side cause I'm too tall. I have a racing seat in on the floor and still hit the column. I have to do it side to side, its near immposible to do it properly.

Re: Who shifts heel/toe with stock pedals ? (AssPenny)
I wasn't able to with my 2k Si, it took some practice. I picked up the Razo Metalic Pedals on my ITR and i spaced the gas and brake pedal pretty close together so now its a lot easier to do it but when i drive stock cars, it feels odd ( of course ) but just remember to keep your left foot closer to the right side of the brake while you swing your foot around to tap the gas. It shouldn't be that hard depending on the car. SOme cars have a lower gas pedal ( preludes ) so work with it. My first mods were HID's, Head Unit , intake and pedals on my ITR. All for the comfort of driving. Good luck!

I have my stock seat all the way back, the back rest at 1 click lower than full upright position. I find this the most comfortable for my driving styles.
I have no troubles heel toeing, but that could be attributed to my Mugen pedals. A good inexpensive alternative to the mugen pedals would be these Sparco ones:
