Default When accelerating hard...

does your dashboard compartment in front of the passenger pop open when shifting from first to second? or am i just doing something wrong? Yesterday at the track my who center radio housing thing was coming out as well....anybody else have these probs?

I too have seen this, it's a common ITR "bug"...
just lock it if your'e gonna be driving hard

It's fixable. Adjust the glovebox latch. You probably have light leak, too... your glovebox isn't closed all the way. Get a Helms. (Not for this, specifically, but this procedure is in there - it's worth it for so many reasons...)

Which one are you talking about?



I use to have that problem with my Yellow ITR. When I got my black one, I could never get it to pop open. I wonder why? Anyhow, just lock it and it won't open. On another note, try not to pack your glovebox with useless stuff. The only thing I have in there is Insurance and Registration. I know how troublesome it could get with alot of paper and junk flywhing out between shifts. LoL

lol yeah, and closing the glovebox in between shifts during a run at the track can get quite hectic. hehehe. Is there any way to fix my radio housing popping out problem? Cuz that is happening every time i shift from 1st to 2nd now as well...

There are two screws on the back that is an 8mm nut also, tighten those up. Over time vibration will cause them to come loose. Use loctite if you have to.
