Default Wheel castor, camber toe in/out as it relates to road racing

I am taking my car to the track for an event in the future. I hear people talking about having the toe in/out within factory specs. I just want clarification on how all this works. Could someone explain this to me? For a beginner on the track such as myself would it be wise to just not touch anything and leave it be? Only suspension mods are rear strut bar, spoon lower front tie bar, and spoon springs (which will be installed when i get them). Appreciate all comments/suggestions.

Mike
