Default Type1 Racing

Hi!

Have any of you guys tried T1R racing exhaust systems? Please post your experiences, and pics of you have! I would like to know more about performance, sound and look. I am going to a complete t1r system - Header, testpipe, exhaust.

Some pics of the system (thanks AJ!):

Enjoy!

i think there was a fitment issue with the exhaust on some of the newer model. might want to search on it. my friend bought the exhaust then wanted to return it because of that

There is a well documented fitment problem with the exhaust.
(search 'T1R exhaust' in the archived topics)

Contact Mike M/IPS or A&J about what is going on with that.

I have the Type One header on my R along with a 2.5" cat, modified stock B pipe, and Spoon N1, and the difference over stock is incredible. I attribute most of the gain to the header/cat. Assuming you get a good deal on the header, I wouldn't pass it up.

Better start getting used to rattles.

I suggest taking off heatshields to prevent the rattles.

Im using the T1R testpipe and its very well made, fits great and since its resonated, isnt raspy like other testpipes. Id like to get their header sometime in the future also.
