Gee...I can't wait. I'm so excited I may not sleep tonight. Do you have a particular year or color in mind? FYI, the 1997's and 1998's were slightly faster than the 00's and 01's because they are Championship White.

Note, that time's with a heated clutch, I couldn't launch properly, I couldn't shift fast, otherwise it would just start free revving down the rest of the track. There are so many ways for me to improve that run... Launch in VTEC, WOT (Wide Open Throttle, in case someone didn't know) shifting, quick shifting... I'm excited to see what I'll be able to pull off.
With a new clutch, I'm sure I'll be hitting high 13s. We'll see in a month or so.

heyy thanks for all your opinions and to let all you guys know i am 15 but ive grown up around cars and know how to appreciate them and will take good care of her and treat her well!!
^ Do yourself a favor... If you buy a Type-R, have a daily driver. You don't want your first time you realize that you should have braked a bit faster in bumper to bumper traffic, to be in a Type-R.
Elevation affects the quarter mile times.
A true stock ITR, meaning no removal of interior or disconecting power steering or ac (for those that came with ac) and no airing down the tires will will give you mid to high 14s around sea level. All this depending on the driver of course.
My personal best at Pomona speedway (close to sea level if I remember right) when I first bought my car was 14.6, however I did lower the tire preassure. Same car at Palmdale (higher elevation) I did 15.1 with similar reaction times.

If your driving in a straight line then a R is a waste of money. With wanting to get in the 12's you are going to tear down the motor anyways so why not buy a gsr or ls and save the money from the cost of the R to do upgrades. Please dont destroy the sanctity of a beautifully designed caR just to drive 1320 feet.
