Default Type R 1/4 Stock!?

This site claims the stock R 1/4 time is 15.8.

http://members.tripod.com/turb...a.htm

Correct me if I'm wrong, but stock is 14.9 (edit: err 14.7 is what I ment to say) in normal elevation...

Why would you trust that site??? If I made a site and said the Type R ran 12 seconds would you believe me?

Soo much mis-info on that site.

If you go to one of those 1/4 calculation sites and enter in the hp/tq and weight of the itr you'll get around 14.7 ...

Perhaps this "R" is on 20" chromies w/all season studded tires?

Im offended. If a SI runs a 15.7 why would a gsr do a 15.8 with 10 more HP?

Weight and gearing have to do with the time. But that .1 is more than likely driver.

GSR's don't run 15.8 or are any slower than an SI.. lol

my bone stock GSR ran a 15.0 at Moroso with shitty tires and horrible 60 ft times (2.4+) - It's all driver....

R's with good drivers are 14.5-14.7 all day long.. possibly lower if it's freaky

I thought GSR's were suppose to run 15.5 and SI's run 15.7? Once again all up to driver.

Bone stock, my R ran 14.8. I just pulled a 14.6 with an open header, although my 60' times are horrible - can't get any traction... I definately could pull a low 14 with a better launch (best trap was 96 mph...)

GSR will definately take an SI with equal drivers and equal circumstances.

I've seen ITR's all over the place in stock form. there are too many variables to actually come up with an answer. I've got itr cams and I should be hitting 13's at the track in a week or 2....
