Greg,

The paragraph of mine from which you've quoted is a JOKE.

The style of writing and the histrionics it's intended to capture should remind you of John's writing.

It's not too sophisticated a joke, but graspable by anyone with decent memory and reading ability.

I have no opinion with respect to AN-R's headers.

Scott, who say's "ah, thanks, a dyno chart would probably settle all this....especially a transient dyno chart"....

The fact that Cosworth has even come out and said they have built special transient dyno's is giving away a lot of info. Just mentioning the transient dyno will bring a whole new approach to how they desing and build their F1 engines and how others will follow. And eventually it trickels down to you the consumer who gets the benefits of it all.
Ford used a transient dyno back in the mid 60s with their 427 Le Mans Program. Ran engines for the full 24 hours with the simulated braking, acceleration and shifting locations. Probably even had driver changes factored into it.

Measuring transient acceleration times is nothing new.

to my Le Mans source.

*sigh*

sounds like a cheap shot at John to me ... keep trying
there is no such thing as a "cheap shot" at john. the guy is an egotistical fool who deserves anything he gets slung at him.

maybe one days I'll post a dyno chart of one of my motors using his header vs. the *other* guys ... prolly shut you up once and for all LOL
yeah maybe you should go ahead and do that. until then, put up or shut up.

What's with posting a dyno chart, thought "transient response" was immesurable and that we're not looking at peak numbers.

ed, dont you know anything?
this is how you witness transient response

1) grab a dyno sheet
2) smoke crack
3) look at those amazing gains!

I'm gonna go get my dyno sheets and smoke a LOT of weed. Sorry, no crack.
Just hope I don't use the dyno sheets to roll.....

As usual none of you have enough experience to give any creditable input. Insults and crap is what comes out of most of your mouths. I happen to have more experience that all of you combined and have the history of our accomplishments to prove it. But all of you just want to shoot your mouths off, too hear yourself talk. I guess when you deal with the general public you find out how ignorant they are. So call me names and tell everyone that HyTech is the worst company around and they have bad business practices. That is what you seem to live for, nothing else. Well my opinion of this board, and most of its members are nothing but a bunch of kids thinking they have all the answers. If you think the AN-R headers re so great then go buy them and taut then as cutting edge. Then you are a mouron for sure. But you have proven that before so whats new. So let the bashing begin so you can all feel better about yourselves. I simply posted a validation for transient and then you turned it into a hate HyTech thread. That is what you are about. You ignore the facts as usual to make yourselves look good.

SO KISS MY *** AGAIN AND DON'T BUY MY HEADERS I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ME IT ISN'T RELEVANT. GO BUY ALL THE CARP ON THE MARKET I DON'T CARE! SO COME ON GIRLS LET THE BASHING BEGIN AGAIN.

Look at John, laughing at you.

I prefer salmon actually, it has a better upstream transient response.

I had a eariler reply and was unable to copy and paste it after I pressed 'post' and realized it had been locked.

hitechex - you act like a troll in the ITR forum. Playing the sophist, not being a team player and contributing to the header test then bashing it and often mocking and bashing SMSP, who has shown his valour by not coming down to your level to sling mud. Honestly, I don't know why you even come to this site. Furthermore, I'm not sure why they ALLOW you to come back.

You may make wonderful product. They look excellent and those that have them seem to be VERY pleased. Dyno before/after charts look great. Fit and finish look excellent.

BUT... your attitude leaves alot to be desired.
You SHOULD be more cognizant of how you act to 'potential customers'. You think you are so high on the horse and are invincible, but this type of attitude you show so often on here may be part of your undoing. Or at least a limiting factor in how many products you sell to the general public. Maybe you don't care, but you should.

As far as this topic, you never cease to amaze me, nor does Larry, Mr. Endyn. Funny how the 'all you ever wanted to know about ENDYN' thread just popped back up out of nowhere. It's a really sad story of deceit, deception and flat out bad business pratices. I wish I had the link to the forum where he stated he had no 'shop', it was his garage. Imagine the looks on the faces of his 'big' customers if they knew how he ran around in circles with 'regular' customers like the guy with the supercharged gsr.

We're getting to the point where there will be a 'all you need to know about hitechex' thread. You may have amazing products, I don't doubt that for a second, but your 'marketing' is ridiculous. This whole transient crap is unbelievable. You can't describe it, explain it, or even account for it mathematically or scientifically. Just saying it is too involved and cutting edge is not an excuse for not being able to describe what you are purporting to be so 'important' to engine design (in this case headers). That's ridiculous. If it was so important, you could quantify it for us, if you cared to share. Or maybe you just don't really know, I have no idea.

We are potential customers!! don't you realize that? We aren't any more though.

Oh, and thanks for returning my inquiries into your header/exhaust. By not responding it told me all I needed to know.

Please leave us alone on this site unless you want to CONTRIBUTE. No more holy wars, smoke and mirrors or 'vague' cutting edge stuff.
