Thinking of selling the ITR, advice?
So I spun a bearing in the motoR and its more money to fix than I even remotely currently have. The car is a rebuild/salvage title with under 80,000 miles on needs some paint work, and it and it has:
corbeau racing seats
Kirk Roll bar
5pt belts
buddy club catback
skunk2 front camber kit
whale ***** cf intake
SS brake lines
New clutch
Personal steering wheel W/ quick release
blox shift ****
I am thinking of selling it and using my 68 mustang as a DD.
Is this a terrible idea? How much would this non working car be worth?
If I could track down some used ITR internals or a short block on the cheap Id be set but it seems like its going to be ~4g to actually rebuild it...
Just want your guy's opinion, a lot of you have sold, bought, and rebuilt.

i have 3 ITR rods, and a set of used ITR pistons that im willing to get rid of.
you pull the motor apart yet? if not, i would. pull the crank out and bring it down to a GOOD machine shop and have them look at it and see if its ****ed or usable. throw some new bearings on the [new/good] rods, some new rings and slap it back together. then drive it around for a minute and think about weather you really wanna sell it or not.
