You need to do a Carsound cat or a testpipe with cat element in the 02 bung to trick the ecu into thinking you still have a cat.

How would you mount cat element in the o2 bung?

I, for one, would like to know what the hell a cat element is too. Please explain.

can't you just mount the second 02 sensor like in the interior or something? I remember supra tt guys doing this when the OBD2 guys put on catless downpipes

O2 sensor gets hot enough to melt interior panels and carpet.

The trick is to get an old cat and cut out a piece of the honeycomb out....weld a piece of approx 3/4" by 1 1/2"pipe to the side of the test pipe and drill a few small holes into the testpipe inside of the pipe you just welded on. Insert the piece of honeycomb you retrieved earlier into the small pipe you welded on and now weld on the 02 bung to the pipe. So basically you will screw your 02 sensor into cat element and not throw a cel.....in theory. Doesnt anyone have a pic of the infamous "Godspeed obd2 compliant test pipe" that they can post for these guys. Hope this helps.
