temp gauge issues at full throttle....why??
well in the summer i changed my thermostat with an oem one. Worked mostly fine all summer. Had no issues at the track. Now that its much cooler outside, sometimes at full throttle my temp gauge drops a tiny bit. Especially if i turn the heat on.
Ive read old threads about thermostats but i havent got anything from them. Is there something else i should look for??
thanks

Its normal, more faster air moving through the radiator = cooler car
try running a bigger radiator, the temp gauge drops down to full cold during the winter when you're on full throttle

Re: (floatfisher)
Because you changed the thermostat, maybe it just reads a little differently for some reason, and your temp dropping 1 bar isn't going to harm your motor man...

Make sure you don't have an electrical problem.
Maybe at full throttle the engine moves enough to pull on the wires and cause the gauge to fluctuate.
I've had that same issue on my car.

if i am on hwy, temperature drop to like around full cold(C). this is after i replace my rad(not aluminum one). final check is the thermostat problem
