Default TB????

Ok guys I'm expecting to hit upwards of about 205-210whp on my type R next month and I have a Skunk2 IM and I was wondering if I should bore out my throttle body to 70mm or keep 64...or something in between??

its 62 if its stock

you can take it to 64, otherwise stock works fine

Spoon makes a tapered 70mm to 64mm (iirc). Kenji knows a guy in CA who does good work though.

ericks racing is 70 to 68

ITR opening is 64 as well, but since the itr tb is good enough to make well
over 200whp why bother doing that first??

well I am already in the process of ordering my other parts...
cams, pistons, valvetrain, etc.........
so I was wondering if I would see any huge difference in power for the 175 or so to bore out the TB???

http://www.ericksracing.com has some that are 70-68mm taper bore..... if you insist on getting one.

I dunno how much good they'll do though, without port matching the IM and boring the interior of it too.....

well they had it in stock and he replaced it as they uninstalled on the nos crap that was sold...so oh well..it's a done deal..I know there is barely any difference in the 2 manifolds...but the question remaind...stock TB is fine? and go for the overbore CTR pistons? 81.25
