Re: (Kool Keith)
Really sucks man. I hope its recovered with minimal damage/strippage. Death to thieves.....
She really was a beauty.
Would welding some sheetmetal around the ECU and over the fuel pump help prevent hot wiring? I mean, damn, this one had fuel cutoff and clutch lock. Maybe reroute the the fuel wires under the car through the fuel line channel? Gotta stay ahead of these f*cking thieves.
Again, I'm hoping for the best for you.

Re: (PirateTypeArgh)
damn dude, the only thing you didn't do was keep it inside a garage. you literally did everything possible that you could have other than that.
i'm seriously considering a GPS tracking system in my db8 itr. i remember a kid posting about his car that got jacked, and how he found it in a parking garage somewhere using his GPS.

That blows dude. Ive heard of clutch locks broken, cars still stolen with kill switches and R's that had more security than that. Not much you can do anymore, theives are accostomed to that crap security. If they want your R.... well you know. GL with the insurance loss process.

Re: (liam821)
It may not hurt to cruise around some industrial areas and public parking garages. Some thieves, concerned about lojack, will leave the car someplace for a few days before coming back to strip it. This way they can see if the cops or you locate it.
Best of luck.
