Default Spoon Twinblock Bolt

So I have a lightly use set of Twinblock's. I have everything but the Spoon bolts. Now looking at the instructions, it says to NOT use your OEM one's. Now, I'm looking to see as to what other options I have since I dont have the original Spoon bolts. Thanks in advance

The bolts that come with the Spoon calipers are slightly longer. I'm not sure by how much tho.

NSX bolts are longer than ITR, but looks like more than the Spoons.

Thanks. So if I take mines and go to a parts store and measure for one that is slightly longer, then I should be good to go or get nsx one's 90107-SL0-000. Im assuming its longer due to the washers.

Ignore the washers, I only used them to space out my NA2 caliper bracket so that it was centered.

So if I don't use the washers, then do you think I can use my old bolts?

you'll need the washers. They align the caliper over the rotor. Supposedly there are some knuckles that don't need the washers, but I've never seen one that didn't.

I would think they would still be too short, right?

I would say no, because the thread contact area is shorter. The threaded area on the Spoon bolts are most likely longer because they are screwing into aluminum. You do not want to exceed the bearing load of the aluminum threads.

go to a bolt store and buy some that are the length that DC5yo supplied to you in the earlier posts..

why guess at which bolt to use espcially when someone has already measured the correct one for you......

I put the monoblocks on my NSX today and I did not need the Spoon bolt. The NSX one's worked fine. Hope that helps a little.

I'm confused. Can you edit the post that isn't correct. you have 2 contradictory statements, one right after the other.

Do not use the Oem Honda bolt, too short as you can see in the picture. I want to confirm the NSX bolts works perfect with washers......
