Re: Spoon Integra Type R at AJR (George Knighton)
The JDM driver I knew who was driving this car doesn't uses left foot braking. You know I dont want to set an topic to argue about suspension setting cuz it will never end.
FYI the setup camber + toe + spring rates + ride height + chassis reinforcement and damper adjustment , the car is very neutral to begin with and when the tires get too hot the car will oversteer. this is what I observed from JDM tuners or race teams are using.

I personally like the look of the spoiler on that car. Plus that spoiler is all function no fashion anyways.

LOL... You sure we have enough lights on that thing?
#24 started its life as a 96 spec car, the headlights are non-HID 96 spec units. Hence the Raybrig HID driving lights But for sure, those HID are great for racing at night in complete darkness
The green light on the roof is the class light, the color signifying whether the car is in Class 1, 2, 3, 4 or N+ so that driver's know if a faster class car is coming up behind them

Suspension settings for the Spoon DC2 :
Showa dampers F.22k R.18k
I'm guessing that JDM drivers do a lot of left-foot braking?
I'm in the middle of my second track weekend w/Spoon springs and Konis on my ITR, and although the car's limits are quite a bit higher, it does understeer.
I have the rear of the car at 3/4" out, and it still understeers. LOL...
I don't know what to do except master left foot braking!!
Edit: I don't want to leave the impression that I don't like the Spoon springs. The car's limits are so much higher that the understeer is the next thing to solve, that's all.

1/4 mile for this car?
The AJR boys have been dodging the question pretty good about why is the car in Vancouver.
Oh I know why, for the November 16 meet

Re: Spoon Integra Type R at AJR (HapiHonda)
isn't the guy refering to the mugen wing on the civic? If so I don't like how it looks either. As for the GT wing, it serves a purpose but is still ugly
