Default skunk2 intake manifold vs. type r manifold

all being equal are these both the same thing...i have a type r intake manifold now, but i was looking and see that skunk2 makes a manifold also, would there be an advantage to that

thats all i wanted to hear...mine is port matched to my head and all...so basically there is no 7-8hp gain in my case then
