when i am driving in the rain, only when it is really hard it happens, water kicks up form underneath the car and some how cause my shifter to get real stiff and it starts to vibrate, but as soon as the rain lets up or not a lot of rain on the road it STOPS!! any ideas of what it could be?
thx? i also forgot to mention i had a b&m short shifter kit installed a while back but never ahd this problem before

Do you have the stock bushings still?

 

i am not sure but i will check to see if i have them in the short shifter box

 

I have this exact same problem. I use the DC short shifter. I have the original bushings.
