Shift Stabalizer Problems
On my friends 1994 GSR, his shift stabalizer keeps poping off on the transmission end. It turns out the bolt fell out and I just can't seem to find the right bolt to make it fit. Any ideas as to what size bolt? No idea what lenth, or size. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sorry don't have any specs for you, but if the bolt fell out chances are the two large bushing washers fell out, too.
At any rate, I'd call up the dealer or Mike K and try to find a temporary replacement. Anyone got a Helms? Maybe it lists the bolt size?

Go to the dealer and buy the parts. You'll need the washer and I doubt you'll find that in a hardware store as it is concaved like the bushing.
I can't imagine it costing more than $20...but I could be wrong as those stupid plastic clips for the interior cost like $1 each

I've had this happen to me and it was the original bolt! If you've lost the original bolt, get a new one and put some loc-tite(sp?) on it. That's what I did and haven't had a problem since.
