Default Resetting/Reprogramming VAFC?

If you upgrade your intake after a VAFC was installed, should you "reset" the VAFC or reprogram it? And how would you do so?

You don't have to because it has nothing to do with the intake. Have you tuned the car with the VAFC before the new intake? If you have it might have changed the a/f ratio but doubt it unless you have some super 4" ram air thingy sticking out of the front.

Well we resetted the ECU and the car doesn't seem to lag anymore, it seems great. BUT now when the car is ran hard the idle fluctuates from 900-1200 sometimes. After a while it comes back down to like 800 but once you give it a little gas it goes back up to 1200 then keeps fluctuating for a bit.

I had the same problem. It takes some time for the ecu to learn your new setup so just keep an eye on it until the car learns. My has and no more hunting.....

Just takes a bit till the ECU gets used to it. As long as it's not idling low, I wouldn't worry about it.
