Default replacing synchro's

if i already have my tranny pulled out and i wanna fix the synchro's, how much
would the shop charge just to replace synchro's? excluding parts.

parts are cheap. labor will cost you.

i guestimate around 800 for all gears, for labor.

Way to much. For example, replacing all Syncros and bearings with Labor...a good price would be around $1000. For example, the 3/4 syncro is $250, 5/R syncro is $160, 1/2 sycro $[don't remember], bearings $[forgot], labor around $350.

I did it. you'll need basic tools plus a bearing puller and a long armed gear puller. I didn't have a press but if you have one it would make things easier.

need a good puller, 32mm socket, vice, torque wrench, and some patience.
