Rattle from engine mount inserts?
Less movement due to stiffer mounts would cause more vibration.. but how much are we talking here? i dont want to end up with dashboard shaking at idle..
i have no idea how this would be, so if you run them? what brand and how is it?

Cars that I have been in with upgrades and or inserts are rather stiff and vibrate at idol. Once u begin to move it is not so bad though in my opinion.
I have the ES inserts, I don't think it rattles any more than it did without them. But turn on the AC, and then it will rattle like no tomorrow
With just the e's the rattle isn't that bad, just a slight hum with variances in loudness through the rpm range. Do the other two mounts with the prothane set and the cabin is like the inside of a drum, very loud.
i dont recall what kinda inserts my buddy has but the car def. rattles and shanks but it is cool.....i would mos def. reccomend them. It shakes the hood and the front bumper vibrates but the launch is better
hatch, with ES inset kit, just the front two lower torsion mounts though. My dash/steering wheel vibrate. Kinda annoying at idle, but anything above 1k rpm and its back to normal.

On my gsr the sunroof shade thingy and the gauge cluster vibrate sometimes with all 3 ES inserts. The gauge cluster may just be loose but im too lazy to check.
When I 1st installed my Prothane inserts I said, "OMG, WHAT HAVE I DONE???!!!" But after I got use to them over a couple of days I can't imagine going back to stock. Mines not too bad of a vibrating idle. Once it comes off idle it vurtually dissappears. I like the solid feel so much that I'm probably going to go with either HASport or Place Racing solid mounts later on.
the inserts i had on my eg hatch made my dash and steering wheel vibrate a lot. it was really annoying when my car was at idle. but it did help me out when it came to racing, so if you don't mind a little discomfort then i'd go for it. but it also depends on the mounts you get and other things. forinstance, my hatch was completely gutted except for the dash and that might have affected how much vibration i felt.
