I know Wai, but there's a fine line between trying to hold your position and bluntly, dangerously, blocking. He probably would have been pentalized in a ton of other circuits.

It really wasn't too bad Cory.
Remember there's no point-by's or lifting throttle for faster cars in racing. Actually *I* had to responsibility to watch out when I stuck my nose in.

It's still a race though. Everyone is fighting for position.

Oh and thanks Wai, I know you put the video on google just for me.

7:30-7:40 should have made ESPN's Ultimate Highlight Reel...

Glad you enjoyed the vid.
Andy Hope was in the EG, it's a slower car so he was running a very defensive line. That's also the reason why the red Prelude couldn't get around him for the first couple laps.

There's no way I could stick my nose on the inside, even if I could, my exit speed was gonna suck. So I kept the momentum and took the outside, with the ability to pull a longer straight exit line, I was able to motor away on the inside.

Your description of events leading up to the final race is perfect! Great job putting the reader into perspective, and outstanding driving!

At first I was thinking the same thing as JjuuN R - that the prelude was dangerously blocking you by any means necessary and showing horrible sportsmanship. I watched the video a second time and realized I obviously have a LOT to learn about racing on the track.

Don't expect too much mention of H2 tho.... They mainly focus the coverage on H1 and H4 with the most entries (10 and 13 respectively).

It really depends.
I was running faster lap times than the Si in many occasions. The Si is definitely FAST tho.

plus, look at the SI (same one from the Honda commercials)......that isn't a private team. More like factory backing going against people who have 9-5 jobs.

I'd say that is not the best indicator of the 2 head to head.

Tire smoke from me locking up and I'm sure the silver ITR that hit me was locking up too.
