As far as I know the only real way to tell is to send them off to be tested. Why, car not starting? If so, then there's much easier ways to figure out the problem.

The injectors click when they open and close. If they don't click, then they're probably not firing. Just put a long screwdriver up on your injector, then put your ear on the screwdriver when someone's trying to start it. If you hear the clicking, then the injector is opening and closing. If it's not, and you're doing it right, then the injector isn't opening.
